There were initially six units in the Maths syllabus for Class 11, but it has now been reduced to five. Below are the deleted chapters and topics from the Maths syllabus for 2024-25:

    • Chapter 6: Linear Inequalities
      • Graphical solution of linear inequalities in two variables.
  3. Unit III: Coordinate Geometry
    • Chapter 10: Straight Lines
      • Intercept normal form and general equation of a line removed.
  4. Unit IV: Calculus
    • Chapter 13: Limits and Derivatives
      • No changes made.
  5. Unit V: Mathematical Reasoning
    • Chapter 14: Mathematical Reasoning
      • Complete chapter removed.
  6. Unit VI: Statistics and Probability
    • Chapter 15: Statistics
      • Analysis of frequency distributions with equal means but different variances removed.
